Windows Updates

Greetings!

This is your friendly neighborhood IT guys at SOS Support with a reminder for Tuesday.

Every Tuesday Microsoft releases patches for Windows.  For those of you that are not subscribing to patch updates via SOS Guardian you should take some time today to check for updates and install them.  It is very important that you update your anti-spyware and antivirus definitions as well, for those of you who have managed anti-virus on your systems no action is needed it simply updates itself.  If you are using Microsoft Security Essentials, you should absolutely install your definition updates.

The only items to avoid at this time are updates that will upgrade your version of internet explorer, many of you need to access sites that require old versions of IE, so just leave the version that you have and do not install new versions.

All other updates should be good to go!
